This Leadership Dialogue focuses on the ways we communicate ? the way we think about working with others, the way we actually interact with others, the choices we have in our conversations with others, the way our assumptions support or sabotage our messages.

Leadership Dialogues offer a unique leadership training approach for managers and supervisors. They are based on a model of leadership that contains five key practices, which every manager or leader can incorporate into team relationships: Modeling, Visioning, Challenging, Enabling and Encouraging.

Testimonials

Coaching

“[coaching] made me realize that all personal change and growth comes from within — that everything I have been looking for and wanting to do with my life is right here, right inside of me.”
— H.L.

“[coaching] provided me with a self analysis of my work life and a system of prioritizing the essential aspects of that professional life to accomplish a multitude of tasks more effectively than in the past. Through identifying values and needs I was also able to prioritize my personal life and begin to define a future for myself based on specific interests and personal joys.”
— H.M., Owner, Catering Company

“Coaching has been instrumental in helping me trust my own instincts and judgement and operate from ‘within’.”
— G.G., Program Coordinator, Community Service Group

Leadership Dialogues

“Group coaching circles have become an integral part of my professional practice. Often as we move into challenging roles, we can find ourselves alone or second guessing ourselves. These coaching groups have provided me with the opportunity to learn and discuss ideas with my peer group. The written material, homework and follow up dialogue create a community practice with intention, making it different from a “vent”. Peer support and challenged thinking is important to helping me stay focused in today’s complex and creative workplace!”
— V.H., Executive Director, Community Services

“[Leadership Dialogues] provided me with an opportunity to share ideas with peers, other entrepreneurs and business owners faced with similar struggles in defining and living leadership roles. You created meaningful dialogues in an efficient setting. Even though we were all in very different businesses, leadership is a universal experience for those struggling with its challenges. Ultimately you worked with six participants giving them all ownership of their view and opening their minds to potential success. There was no failure, just awareness of oneself and ones style. I appreciated the opportunity to share my knowledge, hear others views and develop my skills. You provided some excellent course materials that I have been able to put to good use.”
— H.M., Owner, Catering Company

“The Leadership Dialogues provided me with important feedback—both from other strong leaders and Sue herself. The work/discussions that we had together are priceless and key points that I will carry with me forever. Combine this with the wonderful resources and homework that we were provided with and did in between our sessions I know that not only I, but my company will reap the rewards!”
— O.R., Business Development and Advertising Executive, Private Company
